POSITION 1: head down and hugs knees // POSITION 2: cradle head on seat in front

Mixed-media installation

dimensions variable

This piece portrays a level of unconsciousness. The wooden structure was thought to be of dimensions bigger than a body so that it sat firmly in the space. The carpet is recycled from an airplane, and the way it is position, transitioning from horizontal to vertical makes your gaze look higher.

This transition of looking up/taking off contrasts with the pillow and then the person falling (landing) on to it. It takes you on a journey to a deeper degree of experiencing.
